Daniel Delozier was born in 1686, and received his mark for cattle in Charles County on 13 Nov 1705 (Deed Z:187). He married Mary Cable, the daughter of John Cable, and became a tailor. By 14 Sep 1708 they were residing in Prince George's County where he and his wife Mary Cable, the daughter of John Cable, a deceased planter, sold to George Elgin, tailor, a parcell of land called "Batchelor's Agreement", which had been surveyed on 07 Oct 1668 for the father of Mary and was now in the possession of Daniel Delozier (Deed C#2:111). Daniel Delozier gave his cattle mark to Maurice Fitzgerald who had it registered on 17 Oct 1709 (Deed C#2:148). Daniel Delozier was taxed in Piscattaway Hundred of Prince George's County in 1719 (Black Book #1:164). In Prince George's County on 01 Sep 1721 Daniel Delozier, tailor, sold two slaves, 20 cattle, and 40 hogs to William Hunt of London (Deed 720-726:168). He was an appraiser for several estates in Prince George 's County.
On 07 Apr 1722 Daniel Delozier bound his son John Delozier as an apprentice servant for seven years to Patrick Connally to be trained as a blacksmith, and he was also to tend corn and get firewood for the use of the Connelly family. If Patrick Connelly died during that time, then John Delozier was to be discharged from the apprenticeship (Charles Co. Deed L#2). He was taxed in Piscattaway Hundred in 1733. In 1776 Daniel Delozier is living with his son Edward Delozier in Prince George 's County and is age 90.
